Christian love is not about warm feelings and personal preferences; it is about understanding and cherishing the interrelations that connect us all.
Love is welcoming a stranger and accepting an old friend for who they really are.
Love is looking out for our neighbours as we would look out for ourselves.
- What is your understanding of Christian love?
- In a world filled with loneliness and isolation, how will you and your community share and accept God’s love?
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love. We love because God first loved us (1 John 4:18–19).
